Introduction
ST. CHRISTOPHER a 2003 Manta 42 Mk ll Sailing Catamaran was the manufacturers showboat at the 2003 Annapolis Sailboat Show. The boat has been carefully maintained and sailed by her full-time live-aboard owners is in excellent condition and ready to return to the Caribbean the Bahamas or sail to any other area the new owners may wish to visit.The boat has most of the standard Manta features including offshore anchor pac comfort pac NAV-COM PAC roller furling spinnaker PAC aluminum radar arch / hardtop / dinghy davit PAC plus several additions and changes making the boat "green" and totally self-sufficient while cruising or at anchor. Your only limitation is the amount of provisions on board and your own imagination.Notably among the additions and changes are that in lieu of the factory-installed diesel generator there are (6) 75W solar panels a Duo-Gen D400 high output wind generator with an ampair regulator and an extra battery bank. The panels and wind generator are more than capable of maintaining a full charge in the battery bank under nearly any weather condition. Original batteries were replaced by new SeaVolt AGM batteries - (6) 6V House batteries & (2) Group 24 start batteries - in January 2009.
Detailed Vessel Walkthrough
On the bridge deck is the Main Saloon featuring an L-shaped settee large adjustable dining table. U-shaped galley with large counter drawers & storage stove with oven storage locker and10 cu ft refrigerator/freezer. Navigation area. The port hull is devoted to the owners suite. Forward is the head area with separate shower stall sink mirror marine toilet & storage locker. Mid-ships is the pantry and bookcase. Aft is the owner's stateroom with queen size bed facing fore & aft settee large locker and storage.The starboard hull contains guest quarters. The forward cabin has a double-size berth settee & storage. Mid-ships is the dual access head and bookcase aft is the VIP cabin with a queen-size berth athwart ship settee with storage.Sky shades blinds for all opening ports & stateroom hatches. Shore powered dual reverse cycle air conditioning and heating systems provide comfort in the saloon at dock.A Bomar companionway door with locking handle with a roll-away companionway screen door provide access from the saloon to the cockpit.Aft of the main saloon is the cockpit with the helm station and generous seating in the cockpit with a table. Aft of the cockpit is storage high seating the RADAR-Davit arch. Sugar scoop steps lead gently to the sea. The cockpit is fully covered.Wide walkways lead to the spacious foredeck with lounging area both on the hard deck and in the twin trampolines.
Main Salon

This provides for much better air circulation in the salon while maintaining water-tight integrity when closed & dogged down.A Samsung 18" color television is installed and secured in the main saloon. This along with a microwave a toaster a coffee maker and other 110V appliances are easily handled by a 2000W Mastervolt inverter.
Master Stateroom
Forward is the master head area with separate shower stall sink mirror marine toilet & storage locker. Mid-ships is the pantry storage inboard & outboard and opposite the companionway is a large bookcase. Aft is the masters stateroom with queen size bed facing fore & aft settee large double-door hanging locker with cedar lining drawer space & storage under settee.The shower enclosure in the Port Head has a Plexiglas folding door opening brightening and enlarging the space. The electric fresh-water toilets have been carefully maintained to ensure proper operation at all times.The standard queen-sized folding mattresses have had an extra 2 inches of "30-pound Crush" foam added to the normal 4 inches of "50-Pound Crush" foam making the two mattresses much softer and more comfortable for sleeping.
