This boat has been well maintained while at sea and everything mechanical is fine tuned. The current captain has been with this vessel for years and knows every inch of this boat. All of the woodwork on the boat use to be varnished and kept up with regularly until it became a research vessel. Since then it was finished and then painted over, which could easily sanded and restored to its former glory.
Certain areas have been rearranged for research studies. Part of the dinning area now has several work stations set up instead of seating. In the captains cabin there is ample amount of room that have since been used for scientific refrigeration storage, as seen in the pictures.
